Composition and properties

Urgotul® is a non adherent, non – occlusive flexible contact layer derived from Technology Lipido-Colloid (TLC Technology). It is composed of a flexible polyester mesh impregnated with hydrocolloid and petroleum jelly particles.

Indications

• Non to low exuding wounds (dermabrasions, traumatic wounds, surgical wounds, skin tears etc)
• Can be combined with an absorbent dressing for heavily exuding wounds
• Can be used in cavity wounds
• Ideal for use in difficult-to-dress areas (fingers, toes etc.)

Method of Use

• Cover Urgotul® with a secondary dressing suitable to absorb the level of exudate.
• Secure with an adhesive film dressing/tape or retention bandage (K-Band® or K-Lite).
• Can be left in place for up to 7 days.
