Composition and properties

Urgotul® SSD is an antibacterial contact layer with TLC-Ag Technology (polyester mesh impregnated with hydrocolloid, petroleum jelly and silver sulphadiazine particles).


  • Antibacterial activity on 117 germs, including MRS (1)
  • Pain-free dressing changes (2,3,4,5)
  • Well-tolerated (1)
  • Moist wound-healing (2,7)
  • Clinically proven (1)


  • Non to low exuding wounds, infected or at risk of infection
  • Can be combined with an absorbent layer
  • Can be used in cavity wounds

Method of use

  • Secure with a bandage
  • Can be left in place up to 7 days
